Day by Day Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick Up Kigali And Transfer To Akagera National Park.

Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide who will pick you up in Kigali and drive you to Akagera National Park which is on Rwanda’s eastern border and is where the generally hilly terrain transitions into the Great Rift Valley savannas. The region, which is predominately made up of lakes, bogs, and marshland, has a great variety of fauna and natural features that are unique to this part of the country. At the lovely Akagera Game Lodge, we’ll arrive before noon. After lunch, go on a game drive to the giraffe valley to begin your investigation. In addition to allowing you to access this lovely park, Akagera National Park also lets you take advantage of the camp’s breathtaking views of Lake Ihema. Drive to the lodge have your dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Boat Ride, Game Drive And Transfer Back To Kigali.

Enjoy your breakfast and transfer to the park for your morning boat cruise where you will get to see a number of animals such as the crocodiles, hippos and so many others.
Drive to the lodge for your lunch as you prepare for your afternoon game drive as you check out to drive to Kigali airport for your flight back home.
