10 Days Honey Moon In Rwanda.

Day 1: Arrival In Kigali.

Upon arrival, you will meet our guide at the airport who will pick you up and take you to the hotel for the night. You can take a quick tour of Kigali City and visit the genocide memorial if you arrive in the morning or early afternoon.

Day 2: Transfer To Akagera National Park | Boat Safari.

After breakfast this morning, your driver guide will come to the hotel to take you on a quick city tour. You’ll see places like the Kandt Museum and the Memorial to the Genocide in Rwanda before continuing on to Akagera National Park. After arriving at the park, you’ll take a car to your hotel so you may check in.
After checking in, have lunch before heading out for the nighttime boat safari. You’ll go on a boat safari on Lake Ihema after lunch to enjoy the lovely afternoon wind and maybe see some birds and wildlife.
Take part in a night game drive to seek for the nocturnal species, depending on your interests. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game Drive In Akagera National Park.

A Savannah park, Akagera National Park is home to a variety of large and tiny species. You will enjoy your breakfast and then your guide will take you up for a day’s game drive toward the park’s less forested northern region, which offers higher chances for seeing wildlife, after an early breakfast.
As you drive around the numerous lakes, you will observe a variety of wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, impalas, elephants, buffaloes, topiary, and the elusive leopard. If you are lucky, you could catch a glimpse of a pride of lions before they retreat. There is an exquisite variety of birds for the serious or even casual observer. Experience Rwanda’s diverse landscapes in this national park, which offers vistas of a variety of plains, lakes, and mountains. Drive back to the lodge for diner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer To Nyungwe Forest – The Home Of Chimpanzees.

Enjoy your breakfast and leave Akagera National Park this morning and travel through Kigali to reach Nyungwe Forest National Park. To gain further insight into the history and customs of the Rwandan people, we will make a break in Huye for lunch and a visit to the national museum. Later in the evening, we arrive in Nyungwe Forest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking And Canopy Walk In Nyungwe Forest.

Enjoy your breakfast and meet your guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters to join your friends and have a briefing on the rules and regulations of trekking chimpanzees. Get into the jungle and start searching for these primates, once you come across them, you will be given ample time to spend with these gorillas and have fun. Drive back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for an evening canopy walk where you will get to see the beautiful views of the forest that you will get to admire. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer To Volcanoes National Park.

After breakfast, we head to Volcanoes National Park. Savor the varied vistas and meandering roads within the region of a thousand hills. Depending on your needs, you will have the option of several stopovers for stretching and photos. Arrive in the evening and check into your lodging where you have dinner and sleep over.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking In Rwanda.

Enjoy your breakfast and meet your guide with your packed lunch who will take you to the Kiningi park headquarters for a briefing on the rules and regulations of trekking gorillas. You will join the other groups and then enter into the jungle to search for the primates. Once you come across these gorillas, you will be given time over 1 hour to stay with the gorillas as you are having fun and taking photos.

Day 8: Visit The Gorilla Guardians Village & Transfer To Lake Kivu.

Enjoy your breakfast and visit the gorilla guardians community in the morning to gain further insight into Rwandan culture. Spend a day as a king or queen, learn to knit, practice shooting a bow and arrow, and take in music and people from Rwandan culture.
After this excursion, head to Lake Kivu to relax and recuperate from the tumultuous voyage and experiences.

Day 9: Lake Kivu Experiences.

This will be a relaxing period after all of the travel and adventures we have had touring Rwanda’s stunning lake Kivu. You may go kayaking on Lake Kivu, see the border between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, visit hot springs, go on a boat ride to an island, and spend the evenings lounging by the lake while sipping your favorite beverage.

Day 10: Transfer To Kigali For Departure Flight.

This is the last day of your wildlife safari in Rwanda with Adventure In the Wild Safaris. Enjoy your breakfast in the morning, make your way to the international airport in Kigali to catch your journey home. We sincerely hope you had a great time touring this stunning small nation of a thousand hills.
