Day by Day Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick Up From Kigali And Transfer To Bwindi 

After breakfast, depart from Kigali. Drive to the Uganda-Rwanda border and complete the necessary immigration procedures. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive at your accommodation in Bwindi in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking And Afternoon Batwa

Early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters to receive a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines. Embark on your gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest which may take a while to more hours depending on the location of the gorillas. After you found them, spend time observing and photographing a gorilla family in the wild.
Return to your accommodation in the afternoon. Relax and enjoy the evening. Or go for Batwa community walk to visit the Batwa Pygmy community for a cultural experience. Learn about their traditional way of life, customs, and music. Participate in their activities and gain insights into their history.
Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Travel To Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have morning breakfast and after, depart for Queen Elizabeth national park via kasese to Fort portal road. You will have lunch enroute Fort portal town before you proceed to the park. Arriving the park in the afternoon, you will proceed with enroute game drive to the lodge as you view some of the animals along the way. On arrival at the lodge, check in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Game Drive And Afternoon Boat Cruise

Morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to see wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species.
Return to your accommodation for lunch.
Afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel for excellent birdwatching and wildlife viewing, including hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive And Transfer To Kibale Forest 

Embark morning game drive at the best time to catch up with predators hunting before retiring in their hideouts. Also, us this time to polish out and look for the animals that you could have missed during the previous game drives. Return to the lodge for your late breakfast and continue with your journey to Kibale forest national park. Arriving the park late afternoon, check in to the lodge for rest. Later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking And Bigodi

Wake up early for breakfast and the river will take you to the park headquarters to join others for briefing on the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking. After you will be put in groups each accompanied by ranger guide to begin the search in the forest. The activity may last for about 30min or more hours to locate the chimpanzees. You will be able to spot other primates in the forest. After you found the chimps, you will be allowed to spend 1hour with them in their natural habitat as you watch them go about their daily activities.

Day 7: Return To Kigali

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kigali, Rwanda. Depending on the time of your return flight, you can explore Kigali’s sights such as the Genocide Memorial Center.
Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure.
