Day to Day Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick up at the hotel, transfer to Nyungwe Forest

The trip starts early morning with pickup from your hotel or airport followed by a briefing from the tour guide and then drive towards the western province. On your way you will visit the Royal Palace Museum and Ethnographic Museum in Southern Province and later head for an enroute lunch.
After your lunch you will head to Nyungwe Forest National Park for an afternoon canopy walk and then return to your hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking & return to Kigali

The second days begins with an early morning breakfast at the hotel followed by a transfer to the park for briefing and chimpanzee trekking and you are allowed one hour of finding the chimpanzees. Nyungwe Forest is also home to 13 species of primates so you can be rest assured that the tour will be scenic. You will then go for lunch at your hotel and then transferred back to Kigali to your hotel or to your preferred location.

The trip will start from Kigali International Airport to Nyungwe National Park and you will be dropped off at Kigali International Airport.
