Day 1: Pick up and transfer from the airport and Kigali Airport
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will go through customs and immigration and thereafter you will be met by our company guide/ representative who will warmly welcome you to the Rwanda. He will pick you up and drive you to your accommodation for briefing about the 12 days Rwanda gorilla trekking, Masai mara & Zanzibar beach safari, and later have dinner and overnight stay. Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
After morning breakfast at the lodge, the driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Kigali city for a city tour where you will visit the local market and Kigali genocide memorial ground, and have lunch before being transferred to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park where you will check in the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Cultural visit
Wake up early and have morning breakfast and thereafter, with your packed lunch, head out to the park headquarters to attend a briefing before the trek, you will be divided in groups of 8 members and assigned arranger guide who will accompany you in to the forest to begin the search. Gorilla trekking may last for about 2-6 hours or even more depending on the movement of the gorillas. When you have finally found them, you will be allowed one hour with them watching their social life as you take pictures. On a gorilla trekking safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole days depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on cultural experience at Iby’ Iwacu, to get cultural insight of the Rwandans. Accommodation: One & Only Gorillas Nest Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Diner

Day 4: Golden monkey trekking & transfer from Kigali to Kenya
Rise up for morning breakfast by 7.30 am and after, the driver will transfer you to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch in Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations to followed during golden monkey tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these shy primates. The trek can last from an hour to six hours just like gorilla trekking, however not as hectic as the gorilla trekking, though the trek is strenuous but much rewarding at the end. You will be given an hour with the golden monkeys as you watch them go about their daily activities and also take as many pictures of your choice and later return from your lodge. Proceed for lunch in one of the local restaurants, before hitting on the road to find our way back to Kigali for your evening flight to Kenya. Our company driver/guide will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon arrival on an evening flight. He will transfer you to Nairobi city hotel for check in for dinner and overnight stay. Day 5: Nairobi / Masai National Park
You have breakfast at your hotel. You will be met by your safari driver where you will have a pre safari briefing and departure for Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation followed by lunch and brief relaxation. Later evening, you will go first game drive Masai mara where you will be able to see some of the animals in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. Day 6 and Day 7 – Masai Mara
You will spend two full days exploring and discovering the vast Mara reserve, enjoying game drives as you search for the resident Big Cats, antelopes and bird species. While on the game drives, be on the lookout for Lions, Cheetahs, Buffalos, Zebras, Spotted Hyenas, Masai Giraffes, Elands, Gazelles, Hippos, Leopard, Black Rhinos and several other animals and birds that reside here. The Mara, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in Africa is home to the Big Five as well as other predators, scavengers, plains game and prolific birdlife. This is also the place where the wildlife spectacle referred to as the annual wildebeest migration takes place every year between July and October when over 1.2 million Wildebeest and Zebras cross over from Serengeti national park in to Masai mara via the Mara River in search of greener pastures. While in the park you will do full day game drives i.e. morning game drives best time for game watching when the animals are most active. Day 8: Masai Mara – Nairobi- and Flight to Zanzibar
Wake up and have morning breakfast thereafter, Check out of camp. Time allows and depending on the location of your camp, you enjoy an enroute game drive as you begin your drive back to Nairobi. On arrival, optional lunch may be served at the Carnivore Restaurant if time permits. You will then be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you board your afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Arrive at Zanzibar International airport, meet and greet with the guide/driver at the Airport, then transfer to the beach hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 9: Day excursion in Zanzibar, Stone town tour & Spice
Have morning breakfast and after, head out for a day excursion to explore the vibrant hot spot of Zanzibar with a tour of the Stone Town, and learn about its rich history and cultural heritage and Spice tour, which is the second income earner of Zanzibar, with a drive through a profusion of greenery in the countryside seeing, smelling and tasting a variety of spices and mouth-watering tropical seasonal fruits such as jack fruit, pineapple, banana, green coconut juice, etc. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 10: Sea Excursion
Rise up early for morning breakfast and by 08:00 depart from Hotel for Safari Blue. Safari Blue is more like but more than a day out activity. This excursion ideally permits the clients to see the natural environment of specifically Menai Bay, the Mangroves, Baobab tree, and sand banks. The clients enjoy the tranquility of cruising by sail in one of Safari Blue’s traditional hand built wooden dhows. A peaceful way to end your memorable day, you will be served with lunch and soft drinks. Tour ends in the evening. Then transfer to the Hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 11: Free day – Self treat
