Tour Overview

This is a quick and active package that makes you explore Rwanda’s best activity in just one day. It’s affordable and fit for clients with limited time in Rwanda. The trek will be in Rwanda’s volcanoes national park which was gazette in 1925 and it’s covering an area of 160km² found in the western part of Rwanda. The park borders Virunga national park in the democratic republic of congo and mgahinga national park in Uganda.

Day 1: Arrival, Gorilla Trekking, And Departure

On your arrival to Rwanda, you will be picked up by a senior guide from ADVENTURE IN THE WILD SAFARIS, and straight away you head to the volcanoes national park where you will be briefed and given rangers plus tracker who will help you as you try to allocate the endangered mountain gorillas.

After finding them you will be allowed to spend only one hour with them watching them feed and play in wild just a few meters from you. Take pictures of your choice but not forget that flashlights are not allowed while taking pictures.

After the trekking, the guide will drive you back to Kigali having an en-route lunch and this marks the end of your one-day Rwanda gorilla trek.

Getting There

The trip will start from Kigali International Airport to Volcanoes National Park to Ibyiwacu Cultural and you will be dropped off at Kigali International Airport.
